An £ 800,000 bitcoin ransom demand by a gang from a firm in The UK

KCS a firm that provides services and supplies to the authorities was hacked by the gang encrypting firm’s systems and data.

Kent Commercial Services (KCS) said that no ransom was paid and the gang could not hijack any personal data. KCS had been provided with data protection advice, as per the Information Commissioner.
