NASCAR driver “Bubba”
Bitcoin has come so far since its introduction in the year 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. Many prominent corporations, idols vouched for Bitcoin’s success and played an important role in socializing it. Famous NASCAR driver Darrell Wallace “Bubba” will be supporting the cause by sporting a Bitcoin logo on his car and uniform during the forthcoming races. Jack Dorsey the Twitter & Cash app founder tweeted some pictures of “Bubba’s” car and the uniform.
Bitcoin enthusiasts would love to see the world-famous decentralized money logo Bitcoin displaying on NASCAR driver’s car. According to a tweet from Jack Dorsey, Wallace will be the driver sponsored by Cash App for NASCAR.
The car and driver uniform colors will be the same as the official colors of the Cash app. The Bitcoin symbol will be shown on the rear end of the car and the left pant leg.
Wallace is one of the most successful African American racers in the NASCAR world. He is famous for full-time stock car racing in the NASCAR Cup Series as well. As per the tweet by Dorsey Bubba’s car will be a Chevrolet numbered as 43. He is famous for driving his No. 43 Camaro ZL11LE.
Not the first time
This is not the first time a NASCAR and cryptocurrencies mingle in the world of racing. Dogecoin community sponsored a NASCAR driver Josh Wise at Talladega by raising US$ 67 million worth of dogecoin, six years ago. The official logo of the Doge Shiba Inu dog logo exhibited all over the racing car Ford Fusion.
A car branded with the Bitcoin logo won the virtual NASCAR race organized during the outbreak of CORVID-19 in the USA. More than 50 thousand spectators witnessed as the Bitcoin virtual car won the NASCAR race.

Furthermore, the Bitcoin community helped to sponsor a rookie NASCAR driver named Alex Bowman in 2014. At the time an organization named BK Racing arranged the deal. They explained that their vision is to “introduce technological innovation to NASCAR” at the time.
Dorsey’s tweet got quite famous in the crypto world. Yet it received thousands of likes and retweets, some were unhappy with the Bitcoin symbol on the car. This happened as it only featured letter “B” with only a single line going through the center.
When Dorsey announced about the sponsorship deal one individual wrote “Bro that’s the Thai baht you need to get your money back.” Thai baht symbol is similar to the Bitcoin symbol and often conflated with the Bitcoin symbol.
