Bitcoin.com’s CEO Roger Ver says YouTube has shut down its official YouTube channel for “Basically No Reason.” YouTube has banned few crypto YouTubers over the last few months continuing its unofficial war on cryptocurrencies. This includes accounts of Chris Dunn, Tone Vays, and Ivan on Tech having their channels flagged or suspended.

Bitcoin.com CEO has uploaded a statement to Reddit today saying there was no basic reason given against the termination of the account.

“I suspect probably a bunch of these Bitcoin Core anti-competition maximalists falsely reported the video saying ‘It’s a Bit[coin] Cash scam!’ or some nonsense like that.”

He further commented that he believes the account was reported by Bitcoin maximalist against his criticism for Bitcoin becoming “a store of value.”

Alternatives for YouTube

Adding more thoughts to his insights Ver mentioned that irrelevant to the YouTube account being reinstated that he will look at other options like Dtube, BitChute, and Ibry.tv. He also requested his audience to suggest the best alternatives and he needs to carry out more studies on the subject too. At the time of the suspension, there was no record of the exact count of subscribers for the channel, however, according to sources channel boasted over twenty-five thousand subscribers for May 2019.
